Getting to Grindelwald

Location

The Hotel Glacier is located in very quiet surroundings only an 8 minutes' walk from the town center of Grindelwald, nearby the train station Grund - Kleine Scheidegg - Jungfraujoch. The Glacier Hotel is also the starting point for many hiking and biking trails as well as for the cross-country ski run.

Access

At the roundabout turn right following the signs of Hotel Glacier and keep straight on for about 1 Km.

By Train

International express trains run to Interlaken. From Interlaken you reach Grindelwald by the Bernese Oberland Railway in 35 minutes.

By Car

Transportation to and from Grindelwald is easy. On Swiss’ national highways to Spiez and then via Interlaken to Grindelwald.

By Air

Grindelwald is easily accessible from international airports at Zürich, Geneva and Basel or from the regional airport at Berne.
